Macransa handles a wide range of concerts in several different genres from folk to jazz, pops, classical music, and the traditional performing arts. The producing activities have broadly extended overseas, not just domestically, including activities for Isao Tomita, a leading authority on synthetic music and who is often nominated for Grammy awards; the shakuhachi player Goro Yamaguchi, who is a living national treasure; the traditional Japanese drum group Kodo; and DJ Ken Ishii who performs all over the world, as well as the activities overseas for Rick Wakeman, a former member of the rock band Yes, Dionne Warwick, The Manhattan Transfer, and Ray Charles.
